So last night my father-in-law and step mother-in-law took my husband and I out for dinner. It was for Ian's birthday (the husband) so Ian got to choose where he wanted to go... And ofcourse he chose Chinese food! I mean he always does, but I guess I shouldn't complain I DID marry a chinese man! LOL
Well only half, which makes his dad and there family full chinese. Ian's birthday was on Jan.5th, but since his dad and step mom were sick back then we made the dinner for last night.
Ian's grandmother would have hated that!! She once got mad at his dad for trying to take her out for her birthday after her actual birthday date!! She figures if your not going to celebrate on that exact date or even before the date, then don't do it at all!!
I didn't get to know her much before her passing, but what I did see was a very traditional "stuck in her ways" kind of chinese women. Being very kind and wise, she always cared for others before herself.
I couldn't understand what she would say pretty much everytime we would visit, but it didn't matter I got it.
But anways, dinner was really good surprisingly! I say that because ever since we've been together Chinese food is all we eat when we're with his family (the chinese side) so I got kind of sick of it! lol
After dinner Ian & I decided to go to a movie; White Noise with Michael Keaton.
It's pretty good, some things were exagerated a bit from the actual research done about this in which the movie was based upon. But that's ok, it made it scarier!
Electronic Voice Phenomenon is real, and I would've liked to see "real" footage on that. Maybe when the DVD comes out it will have it on there.

I had this big post that took me about 10mins to write, but then I screwed up and erased it all!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! It was a good one too!!! :-(
